UPDATE: Dr. has another, more gentle chemo treatment in mind. Also, he & St. David’s South Cancer Clinic will take over treatment- chemo, meds, procedures.
If that proves succssful, he has an Out- Patient treatment option in mind. I won’t say until we get to that point. 🙏🍀🤞🙏

I cried during whole movie- start to end! Rocket is my spirit animal!
I’ve been battling cancer since 2020 & while i didn’t have the high evolutionary do this to me, i totally empathized immensely w/”being worked on,” for lack of a better phrase- RCHOP chemo, surgeries, meds, etc. That stress on self & body… just added to how i felt about Rocket’s story- and to how the Guardians family interacted w/him, etc.
My brother & i really enjoyed the movie- especially in 3D!

Have to listen, not just hear each other.
Having own lives apart from the relationship is healthy as well.
Talk it out, not shout it out.
If upset, pause & reflect- then come together when cooler heads exist.
Find different ways to communicate, but always make communication & each ither a main priority.
Relationships, especislly romantically- inclined ones are an ongoing learning process.
You never stop learning, just as w/life. That’s what we all should keep in mind.

I wish I could express how incredibly tired & over- whelmed I am physically, emotionally and mentally. Diagnosis 2020- trying to get treatment and moving out of apt. 2021- treatment finally in mid/late 2022- and now 2023, covid for several wks. before chemo wrap up, and more appts./treatment(s) to keep me well beyond chemo and initial treatment. Not sure how much I have in me to go on at times… or even if I want to. I just try each day…

So in theory, i’m done w/chemo, pending pet scan 1/31 & dr. visit to go over results.
Haven’t done anything to celebrate- would love to do virtual shin dig or whatnot but seeing this reminds me I need a pick me up, people, & the goofy stuff people do & say to show they care.
P.S. there’s also a weighted Eeyore that sighs on website. I tried to get one to take w/me during chemo, but no dice- for various financial reasons & the damn website wouldn’t let me use coupon/discount/whatever it’s called!

Sore, scratchy throat- sneezing- head feels a little warm- head feels stuffy- feeling stressed & tired.

Feeling a little glum; holiday time is my fave time of calendar year.
Going through chemo & being mindful of social interaction and social distancing is helpful/best for me at this time, but i really miss seeing people for coffee, going to a movie or hanging out at a friend’s apartment, etc. 😔
